    Pulpotomy

    When the decay (bacteria) has invaded the nerve/ pulp of the tooth yet the nerve is still vital (alive)
    Accessing and removing the infected (top) portion of the nerve/ pulp. Unlike adult root canals, a pulpotomy is a short procedure since the canals in the root are not disturbed.
    If there has been pain, the procedure will immediately remove those symptoms allows the tooth to be preserved until it is ready to exfoliate (fallout)
    Pulpectomy
    Primary (baby) tooth complete root canal treatment.
    When the decay (bacteria) has invaded the nerve/ pulp of the tooth and the tissue in necrosed (dead)
