Dr. Rachel is an Oregon native who graduated summa cum laude from Pacific University with a double major in chemistry and biology.  She graduated with honors from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. After obtaining her dental degree, Dr. Rachel was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and was stationed overseas in Okinawa, Japan.

Upon completing her service, Dr. Rachel pursued her passion for pediatric dentistry with a residency at the Harvard affiliated Boston Children’s Hospital. She continued to share her love of pediatric dentistry by joining the faculty at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York, where she relocated with her husband (who is an orthodontist).

In 2020, Dr. Rachel and her family traded in the snow for sunny California. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Rachel can be found spending time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys training for marathons and triathlons.  An animal lover, her family also includes a toilet trained cat, a bearded dragon, and a Klee Kai puppy.
